We know. We know. It’s been a while since you’ve heard from us, but there’s good reason!

Not only have we been hard at work getting to know our new parent company, Del Monte Fresh, we’ve also been cranking out some seriously fantastic new products. As most of you already know, we believe in veggies made easy and with the launch of our new Fresh Veggie Noodles and Rice, we are now – more than ever – your one-stop shop for veg-spiration.

Want to know what makes these new “noodle” products so special? Kohlrabi, to start. We’re making one of the world’s oldest vegetables new again. With its low water content and neutral flavor, our new Kohlrabi “Linguine” mimics a pasta eating experience, fork twirl and all.

The first record of kohlrabi grown in the U.S. was in 1806, and the unique veggie has remained relatively uncommon until now. Dieticians, bloggers and foodies alike have been touting its climbing popularity lately, though. And notable chefs have promoted kohlrabi in featured recipes including Iliana Regan of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs (vegetarian kohlrabi steak and salad) and Greg Vernick, a James Beard Foundation Best Chef award winner (kohlrabi slaw). The Wall Street Journal named kohlrabi a top-trending vegetable in its August 2, 2017 issue.

We’ve also added Butternut Squash “Rotini” and Sweet Potato “Fettucine” to our noodle lineup. The “Rotini” roasts well and is delicious with sage and browned butter or spicy tomato sauce, while the “Fettucine” is a sturdy pasta that holds up well under thicker sauces and proteins. Fettuccine Alfredo, anyone?

Made from 100% fresh veggies, our Fresh Veggie Noodles are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, paleo, low in calories and non-GMO, with absolutely zero preservatives, added sugars or salts. Whew!

In addition to veggie noodles, we’ve built on our Cauliflower “Rice” to include a full lineup of “rice” products. In addition to cauliflower, we’re also rolling out a Cauliflower “Fried Rice” blend and Broccoli & Sweet Potato “Rice” blend. All three are delicious, grain-free alternatives to conventional rice.

Using riced vegetables in place of grains lowers the calories and carbohydrates of any meal, plus they offer up a hefty dose of nutrients and fiber.
